Wind

So far, I've noticed that Sudbury is a windy city. There's always a brisk little breeze, no matter how cold or warm it is. It's nice in the afternoons when the temperature rises into the high 20's and 30's, but look out early in the morning when it's less then 5-10 deg Celsius.

I just got home now from Holy Mass, where there was no breeze. Everything seemed dead, still, no emotion or or devotion for the celebration of the Eucharist. This really disturbs me. Why am I the only one who was there, under the age of 40? Why didn't anyone know when to kneel? It appeared they only knelt because I did; and they only caught on half way through the consecration. Where is the wind of the Holy Spirit? Why aren't these people breathing it in? The very church itself, sounded like a Saturday night social before Mass started and immediately after too.

My prayer tonight is that the young people will come to Church and be filled with the Holy Spirit! May He blow his love into our hearts and fill us with a yearning to know Him better and grow closer everyday!
