Hello Friends,
I moved in safe and sound last night. It pretty much feels like I'm no further away from anyone then when I was really close to everyone. What really made it real, was when I listened to the local radio station and they started giving the weather forecast. They started reading out the temperatures for all these cities in Northern Ontario. I was like, "What?" I actually looked at the radio to make sure it wasn't playing tricks on me. Then I realized "oh yeah, I AM in Northern Ontario" It's not really far North, but it's in the lower region of what is noted as "Northern".
I don't really have much planned for today, except finish my unpacking and organizing. This morning I went to church to attend Mass, unfortunately, the church was locked up and there is no Mass this week :( I guess it wasn't meant to be... I'll likely go find my way around the city today, stop in to a few stores to buy some supplies and things to start class on Monday morning!
