To Fall back...

The time change. It drives some people crazzyyy twice a year, messing up their sleepy schedule and not helping anyone or saving any day light, electricity, (so they say) etc,... Falling back, gaining an extra hour of sleep. Is that what we get, one night in the whole year? Maybe. I think it's a one time chance to refresh ourselves and gain back a little energy. Yeah, I slept eleven hours last night. This morning I woke up feeling fresh and ready for another day of excitement and willingness to do God's work, my daily duty. That brings me to another question that Fr Allan asked in his sermon this morning at Mass. "Why did God make me?" The simple answer that we learned as young children is still as true as ever. "To know Him, to love Him, to serve Him in this life and to be happy with Him forever in heaven."  Oh the thought of it, to be happy WITH HIM FOREVER in heaven, it gives me shivers just thinking about it. What happiness we'll experience. No pain, no sorrow, no tears other than those of joy. I want all my friends up there with me, so let's not fall back but go forth with renewed strength, energy and the great anticipation of being reunited with our heavenly Father and each other in a place far greater then anyone could ever imagine!
